Ms Shawana Bashir wife of Maj. Bashir Ahmad Nasim was born on April 11, 1959 in Lahore. She graduated in 1978 from Lahore College for Women University, Lahore. A house wife, who has been working in a political field for almost 20 years. She has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2018 against one of the seats reserved for women. She is serving as Member Syndicate, GC University, Lahore; and as Member, Board of Governors of Child Protection & Welfare Bureau. She has travelled to Qatar, UK and Saudi Arabia.
