Ms Shamim Aftab wife of Major (R) Aftab Ahmed Qhuresi was born on September 6, 1964 at Sargodha. She obtained the degree of B.Ed in 1998 from Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad. A businesswoman, who has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2018 against one of the seats reserved for women. She served as President, Islamabad Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry during 2017 and is its Executive Member. She also served as Member Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry. She is a Member of Syndicate of University of Sargodha and Member of Sargodha Development Authority. She has travelled to India, UK and Saudi Arabia.
